With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Prof Martin Vorster is a leader in endodontic care and research. After qualifying as a dentist in 2003, he completed a postgraduate diploma and MSc in endodontics (both cum laude), followed by a PhD focusing on fracture prevention post-endodontic treatment. As the past head of the Endodontics Division at the University of Pretoria, Prof Vorster has mentored future dentists while contributing to more than 50 scientific publications.
