What to expect at your dental visit.

After making an appointment with one of our dedicated doctors, you will receive a welcome email sharing some valuable information about us and your first visit. You will have the option of completing your new patient form online via our website or coming in 15 mins before your appointment to complete at our practice. Easy directions to our office and available parking will be communicated with you or you could download our directions here.

During your visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays and digital photographs of your teeth and mouth. At our practice, this is done with the help of an intra-oral camera, digital x-rays and dental instrumentation. It is very important to the CSD team that the focus lies on the whole mouth and not a single tooth. The whole mouth is examined and all issues are correctly diagnosed. After a thorough examination, the doctor will then discuss your X-rays and photos, help you create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have.

SLOWDENTISTRY

Because we know that our patients appreciate the Excellence we can achieve when we have enough time to do what we need to, we are one of the first South African dental practices to join the Slow Dentistry Global Network. By doing so, we have committed to the four pillars of Slow Dentistry: investing more time in each patient, focusing on hygiene, ensuring that the patient can follow the treatment steps and to take care of their general well-being. We achieve this by following a thorough approach, with emphasis on the patient and the quality of their care.
